Decathlon Philippines is holding its Buyback Week from August 9 to 15, 2026, allowing customers to exchange selected pre-loved Decathlon sports equipment for store vouchers.
The program is available at participating Decathlon stores nationwide, including Decathlon Pasig at Tiendesitas, Decathlon Alabang, and Decathlon North EDSA. Dedicated teams at participating branches will inspect the equipment and determine whether it qualifies for the program.
Customers can begin by visiting Decathlon’s website and using its online assessment tool to receive an initial estimate of an item’s value. They can then bring the equipment to a participating branch during Buyback Week for a physical inspection.
Once the item has been evaluated and accepted, the agreed value will be loaded onto a Decathlon Gift Card. The voucher can then be used toward other products available at Decathlon.
Eligible trade-in items include Decathlon-branded bicycles, tents, fitness equipment, scooters, and other major sporting gear. Equipment must be fully functional to qualify for the program.
The Buyback initiative is also part of Decathlon’s circular economy program, which aims to extend the usable life of sporting equipment. Accepted products enter the company’s “Second Life” process, where its Circular Economy team refurbishes the items and checks that they meet safety and quality standards.
The refurbished equipment is then made available at a reduced price for other customers. According to Decathlon, the program is intended to reduce the number of usable sports products being discarded while limiting waste and the need to manufacture replacement equipment.
Decathlon Buyback Week runs until August 15, 2026, at participating branches.
