Myla Pablo Comes Up Clutch for Nxled
In the decider, Myla Pablo scored on consecutive kills to put Nxled up 13-10. Ces Molina answered with a hit off the block, but Pablo came right back with a crosscourt kill for match point at 14-11.
Royse Tubino saved the first match point with a crosscourt hit of her own, before Pablo blocked her on the next rally to end the match.
“I think that the game is made of two decisive parts. In the first part, our strategy definitely worked well. Also, the mixing worked well. And in the second part, to be honest, they simply played better than us,” said Nxled head coach Ettore Guidetti.
“I’m happy anyway because this is a win against a very good team. And this is a win against a team that, honestly, is difficult for us to play with. They showed us in the last year,” he added.
