Schedule Breakdown

Philadelphia is the clear winner this week. The 76ers are the only team playing four games, with three of those contests at home. They also have a Saturday-Sunday back-to-back, giving managers an extra game to work with, but potentially raising workload concerns for players with a history of missed games.

The most interesting storyline is how Philadelphia’s new-look core divides its minutes and touches. With a demanding opening slate against New York, Cleveland, Milwaukee and Detroit, we’ll get an early look at how the rotation works against different types of opponents. Keep an eye on the team’s official injury updates before making any assumptions about individual workloads.

On the other end of the spectrum, Boston, Cleveland, Denver, Phoenix and Portland play just twice. That makes their fringe rotation players less appealing as short-term streamers, particularly if you have an available roster spot you can use on someone with an extra game.

Boston’s matchups against Detroit and New York should be competitive, but the main issue for fantasy managers is volume: two games leave less room for counting stats than three or four. If you’re deciding between similarly productive players, the schedule may be enough to break the tie.

Back-to-Back Games:

  • Monday & Tuesday:
    • NA
  • Tuesday & Wednesday:
    • NA

Streaming tip: Tuesday and Thursday are the lightest nights, making players with games on those days particularly useful in leagues with daily lineup changes. Friday is the busiest slate, so an extra game on that night may not help as much if you already have a full lineup.

Final Take:

Week 1 is about more than simply chasing the team with the most games. Early season rotations and injuries can change quickly, so don’t overreact to one preseason performance. PEOPLE WILL DROP PLAYERS THAT SHOULD NOT BE DROPPED so be flexible, monitor the news, and stream with a purpose. Good Luck Rebanse Fam and let’s start the season strong!
