Welcome to Rebanse Fantasy Corner! We are sharing our Daily Fantasy lineup recommendation for the high-stakes playoff encounter in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup between the San Miguel Beermen and the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters this Friday, May 15.
Daily Fantasy is a player-versus-player basketball game where the fantasy points you earn come solely from the real-life performance of the players you added to your lineup.
Our Playoff Strategy: Since we are in the postseason, the rules of engagement change slightly. We will consider adding players with Questionable, O, or INJ tags because, in the playoffs, most stars are likely to play through injury to help their team advance.
Our Tactical Roster Build: Our absolute locks for this slate are the powerhouse imports. We are drafting SMB import Bennie Boatwright (20.0 Credits) at center and Best Import of the Conference contender Jaylen Johnson (19.5 Credits), whom we have added via the FLEX spot.
To balance our credits, the rest of our starting five will feature an all-Rain or Shine lineup:
- Point Guard: Andrei Caracut (8.0 Credits) will lead the backcourt.
- Shooting Guard: Adrian Nocum (13.0 Credits) slots in at the two.
- Small Forward: We are locking in ROS franchise cornerstone Gian Mamuyac (12.0 Credits).
- Power Forward: Santi Santillan (9.0 Credits) will be our four.
Joining Jaylen Johnson in the FLEX spots to complete our eight-man squad are SMB veterans Jericho Cruz (8.5 Credits) and Mo Tautuaa (10.0 Credits).
Our Captain Picks: We are very content with our leadership duo for this matchup. Bennie Boatwright is our Captain, receiving the 2x multiplier, while Jaylen Johnson serves as Vice Captain with the 1.5x multiplier to their total fantasy points.
