We’re sharing our Daily Fantasy lineup recommendation for the highly anticipated PBA Commissioner’s Cup encounter between the TNT Tropang 5G and Barangay Ginebra this Sunday, May 10.
If you’re new to Daily Fantasy, it’s a player-versus-player basketball game where the points you earn come solely from the real-life performance of the players you add to your lineup.
Our Roster Building Strategy: This is the final day of the elimination round for this conference, so we expect both sides to go all out. Regarding injuries, we won’t consider adding players with Out tags since they’re not likely to play. However, in the PBA, players can sometimes become available minutes before the game, so make sure to double-check your rosters before tip-off.
Our Tactical Roster Build: The imports are absolute must-haves for this matchup. We are locking in Bol Bol (24.5 Credits) as our center and Justin Brownlee (18.5 Credits) at small forward.
For the rest of our core, the shooting guard and power forward positions are no-brainers:
- Calvin Oftana (13.0 Credits) takes the two spot.
- Troy Rosario (10.5 Credits) slots in at the four.
- Jayson Castro (8.0 Credits): Since we have a limited budget at the point, we’re running with the legend himself to lead our backcourt.
The FLEX Finishers: We’re practically hamstrung with our remaining credits for the FLEX spots, but we have to make the best out of the situation. We’ll roll the dice on these three to produce some solid numbers:
- Jordan Heading (10.5 Credits)
- Henry Galinato Jr. (8.5 Credits)
- Isaac Go (6.5 Credits)
Our Captain Picks: We’ve set Bol Bol as our Captain and Justin Brownlee as Vice Captain—it just makes complete sense given their dominant fantasy production.
