Here are the players who made the biggest impact and the stats to prove it.
TOP PERFORMERS OF THE DAY:
Bol Bol TNT C 35 PTS | 13 REB | 2 BLK | 58.6 FPS
The superstar import overcame early foul trouble today and finished with another signature performance. Offensively, TNT has been heavily reliant on Bol, and while he isn’t very efficient, he consistently delivers, so there’s no reason for that to change.
Roger Ray Pogoy TNT SF 21 PTS | 6 REB | 4 AST | 43.2 FPS
Despite shooting just 1-for-5 from three, Pogoy compensated with excellent shooting from two, connecting on 8-of-12 attempts to finish second on the team in scoring and record his best scoring game of the tournament. He also made a bigger impact overall, providing a complete stat line while finishing with zero turnovers. This level of production will be significant for the team in the coming games.
Marvin Jones MER C 28 PTS | 9 REB | 1 BLK | 41.8 FPS
While he has underwhelmed recently, he’s responded strongly today, finishing with one of his best scoring performances of the conference. He did most of his damage on two-pointers, where he shot 8-for-13, and at the line, converting 9-for-11.
Andy Mark Barroca MAG PG 22 PTS | 5 AST | 2 STL | 37.1 FPS
For much of the tournament, Barroca has only made a modest impact as a scorer. Today, however, he stepped up in a huge way, posting his only 20-point performance in the last two conferences. He was on fire from the field, shooting 50% on two-pointers and hitting 3-of-4 from three. While it wasn’t enough for a win, it clearly shows that he’s still a major asset for the team.
Calvin John Oftana TNT SG 20 PTS | 7 REB | 2 BLK | 35.9 FPS
Oftana was instrumental in today’s win, providing value on both sides of the court. Offensively, he recorded his third 20-point game of the conference with excellent shooting from all levels. Defensively, he finished second in the team in rebounding while also delivering in blocks.
Deschon Winston NLX SG 24 PTS | 5 REB | 1 STL | 35.0 FPS
Coming off a subpar scoring performance in their last game, the guard bounced back in a major way today, leading all local players in scoring and also posting his third 20-point game in his last four outings. Despite the way their run ended, Winston has had an excellent conference with his new team and has been one of the major reasons they finished the tournament with the No. 1 spot.
Jerom Lastimosa MAG PG 28 PTS | 4 REB | 2 AST | 33.8 FPS
Lastimosa gave it his all in this performance. He completely took over on offense, scoring the team’s last 11 points to help send the game into overtime. However, he wasn’t able to sustain it, missing a free throw and committing a crucial turnover in the final moments of the game. Despite that, Lastimosa has been impressive for most of the conference and he should continue to play at a high level in the future.
Jayson Castro TNT PG 14 PTS | 4 REB | 8 AST | 30.8 FPS
Throughout the conference, Castro has been unable to find a consistent rhythm offensively. In the playoffs, however, he’s risen to the challenge, posting back-to-back conference-high scoring performances. He really had a strong night offensively, going 3-for-3 from two, converting 4-of-5 at the line and adding a four-pointer while also recording a team- and conference-high in assists.
Christopher Elijah Newsome MER SG 18 PTS | 2 REB | 5 AST | 28.9 FPS
Though this performance wasn’t as strong as the last one, Newsome still delivered, finishing second on the team in scoring. He was also able to find his range today, converting 3-of-4 from deep after going 0-of-5 in the previous outing.
Clifford Marion Hodge MER PF 14 PTS | 7 REB | 1 BLK | 28.4 FPS
Hodge hasn’t been much of an offensive factor for most of the conference. But he came through when it mattered most, going 7-for-9 on two-pointers for a conference-best in scoring.
Crispin John Cansino MER SF 16 PTS | 5 REB | 4 AST | 27.0 FPS
Except for the turnovers, Cansino had an outstanding performance. He finished as one of the team’s top scorers, shooting 7-for-9 from two while also getting it done in other areas.
Kier John Quinto MER SF 11 PTS | 4 REB | 2 AST | 18.8 FPS
Offensively, Quinto has been reliable lately, putting up 10.5 points while shooting 21-for-41 from the field over their last six games. The team will definitely need more of the same from him going forward.
Glenn Khobuntin TNT PF 9 PTS | 3 REB | 1 AST | 14.1 FPS
The forward provided a big spark on offense, hitting 3-of-4 from three-point range. He’s had a few games like this during the elimination round and throughout his career, so it wouldn’t be surprising if he steps up once more in the games ahead.
Rey Benedict Nambatac TNT PG 5 PTS | 2 REB | 2 AST | 13.4 FPS
In the 2024–25 season, Nambatac emerged as one of the team’s top contributors, averaging 11.9 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists across 54 games. However, he was unable to come close to that level so far in this conference. Despite the struggles, he should continue to provide a positive overall impact going forward.
John Brylle Bahio NLX C 7 PTS | 2 REB | 1 STL | 11.9 FPS
For most of the conference, Bahio has been a vital part of the rotation and an impactful contributor in both scoring and rebounding. In two games against TNT, however, he saw a significant decline in playing time, averaging just 10.5 minutes. Still, he has made his presence felt in both games, delivering an efficient scoring performance today and recording six rebounds in the previous outing.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE DAY:
Robert Bolick NLX PG 16 PTS | 6 AST | 1 STL | 25.0 FPS
Through 13 games in the conference, Bolick has been a major offensive threat, averaging 20.1 points while shooting 60% from two-point range. However, he took a step back against TNT, averaging just 15.5 points on only 8.5 attempts across two games. For someone who had been putting together an MVP-caliber campaign, it was a really disappointing finish.
