Here are the players who made the biggest impact on April 19 and the stats to prove it.

TOP PERFORMERS OF THE DAY:

Bol Manute Bol TNT C 50 PTS | 17 REB  | 6 BLK | 92.4 FPS

Bol has clearly separated himself from all other scorers in the league, averaging a league-best 35.0 points through his first five games. He’s taken it up another level in his last two, totaling 98 points. Defensively, he’s been just as dominant, averaging 14 rebounds and 6.5 blocks in that span.

Earl Michael Gilmore TGR C 33 PTS | 15 REB | 2 BLK | 64.0 FPS

Gilmore was excellent inside the arc, shooting 11-for-17, though he wasn’t as effective from beyond the arc, going 3-for-13. Still, he matched his conference-high in points while also recording at least 15 rebounds for the fourth straight game.

Justin Brownlee GIN SF 28 PTS | 9 REB | 2 STL | 49.3 FPS

Brownlee struggled from three in his last two games, going 2-for-14, but he turned it around today, hitting 5-of-6 from deep and finishing 11-for-15 overall to lead the Kings to their third straight win. Still, it was his lowest scoring output of the season amid an otherwise highly productive conference.

Joshua Eugene Munzon TGR SF 21 PTS  | 5 AST | 4 STL | 45.3 FPS

Despite some inconsistency, Munzon has continued to post strong numbers across the board. He finished second on the team in scoring today while also matching the game highs in assists and steals.

Jerrick Vincent Ahanmisi TER SG 27 PTS | 2 REB | 1 AST  | 29.9 FPS

Jerrick continued his strong scoring form this conference, hitting three shots apiece from the three-point and four-point areas to lead the team in scoring and raise his average to 22.9 points over eight games.

Stephen Jeffrey Holt GIN SG 17 PTS | 4 REB | 4 AST | 27.8 FPS

Through his first six games of the tournament, Holt was lethal from deep, knocking down 15-of-29 and nearly perfect at the line, converting 15-of-16. However, his struggles from two-point range limited him to just 10.3 points per game. But he leveled up today, shooting efficiently from all areas to turn in his best scoring performance of the conference.

Shawn Michael Umali TER C 15 PTS | 1 STL | 1 BLK | 24.9 FPS

The rookie big man has been a key part of the team’s rotation this conference. He came up big today, shooting 4-for-7 from the field and a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line to finish as the team’s second-leading scorer while also making a strong impact on defense.

Fran Louie Yu TGR PG 4 REB | 2 AST | 4 STL | 22.8 FPS

Despite his lackluster scoring output in the tournament, Yu has still provided plenty of positives. The former Letran Knight has been steady as a playmaker, averaging 5.3 assists, which is just a fraction behind the third-best mark in the league. He also delivered defensively today, matching his conference-high in steals for the third time while averaging 5.8 rebounds in his last four outings.

Rey Benedict Nambatac TNT PG 12 PTS  | 7 REB | 1 STL | 22.4 FPS

Nambatac finally broke through on offense, posting his first double-digit scoring outing of the tournament. Still, his overall production in this conference has been disappointing. In the Philippine Cup, he averaged 11.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 23 games.

Jeth Troy Rosario GIN PF 6 PTS | 7 REB | 3 AST | 21.9 FPS

Rosario delivered offensively early in the conference, posting three straight double-digit scoring games. While he hasn’t been at the same level in the last few games, he has remained productive on the boards.

Jayson Castro TNT PG 7 PTS | 5 REB | 5 AST | 21.5 FPS

The veteran guard was finally back in action this conference after suffering a knee injury that kept him out for a long stretch. While his scoring has been inconsistent, he’s made up for it in playmaking, averaging 5.0 assists in his last five games.

John Matthew Bravo TER PF 9 PTS | 3 REB | 1 BLK | 20.1 FPS

The rookie has made a name for himself in the Philippine Cup, averaging 10.7 points on 54.8% shooting from two along with 6.9 rebounds. He was far from that level in the first few weeks of the conference but has started to find his offensive rhythm over the last two games.

Shaun Geoffrey Chiu TER C 6 PTS | 9 REB | 1 BLK | 19.3 FPS

Even though he hasn’t scored in double figures, the first overall pick remained impactful on the boards. While his rebounding production dropped in the past few weeks, he has turned it back up in his last two games and finished second in rebounding in this game.

Paolo Jose Hernandez TER SG 12 PTS | 2 REB | 2 AST | 16.4 FPS

Hernandez was back in the lineup today after missing the team’s last two games with a hamstring injury. While he was cold offensively, shooting under 40% from the field, he still finished with his fourth double-digit scoring game of the conference.

Cade Flores TGR PF 5 PTS | 3 REB  | 3 AST | 16.1 FPS

Flores was productive in many areas, but he was limited on the scoring end, shooting just 1-for-5 from inside the arc. Through six games this conference, he’s averaging 5.8 points on 50% shooting with 4.0 rebounds.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE DAY:

Roger Ray Pogoy TNT SF 4 PTS | 3 REB  | 1 AST | 7.1 FPS

Despite a slow start to the conference, his numbers had begun trending upward over the past few games. But he couldn’t maintain that momentum today, finishing with as many turnovers as field goals while missing all three of his attempts from deep.
