Long before the team entered the MPL PH scene in 2025, Team Falcons‘ core roster had already established itself as a dominant powerhouse. With multiple MLBB titles and an M5 World Championship under their belt, this world‑class squad transitioned to the Team Falcons banner and wasted no time proving they still possessed that same winning pedigree.
Over the next four seasons, they remained one of the league’s most dangerous squads.
Giant Slayers: The Team Falcons Trademark
Their debut season alone was enough to remind everyone what they were capable of. In Season 15, Team Falcons made an immediate statement by pulling off a massive playoff upset against Aurora Gaming to secure a third‑place finish. At the time, RORA were among the tournament’s biggest favourites after dominating the regular season with a 12‑2 record.
They repeated that feat against Aurora in the following season. In Season 16, the two squads clashed right out of the gate in the opening match, with Team Falcons delivering a decisive 2‑0 sweep and handing Aurora what would be their only loss of the season. RORA went to another level after that, winning their next 13 matches to finish at the top of the S16 standings.
That trend of stopping the league’s strongest teams continued. In Season 17, reinforced by former world champion Salic “Hadji” Imam, Team Falcons took down the mighty Team Liquid. The Cavalry had looked completely invincible at that time, winning their first nine games. But when they met the Falcons in their Week 6 rematch, the Falcons got the better of them, pulling off a stunning reverse sweep. It ended up being Team Liquid’s sole defeat of that tournament as well.
The Ultimate S18 Threat
This season, they lived up to that reputation again—not just once but twice.
ONIC Philippines was their first casualty. Before the season even started, the Super Family were already favoured to win it all, and it was not difficult to see why. Boasting a revamped roster featuring rising star Savero and the best assassin user in the league in Kingkong—they had all the tools to dominate. That is exactly what they did: holding the number one spot for the first three weeks and sweeping their opening five matches. But once again, Team Falcons stepped in to put an end to the streak.
Just recently, they struck again, and it was Aurora taking the hit. Although RORA had struggled early in the tournament, they had since found their stride, stringing together three consecutive victories in Week 3 to climb from the bottom of the standings up to fourth place.
But Team Falcons quickly showed them who was boss. They dismantled RORA in their opening game, storming to a dominant 15‑1 win before showing tremendous composure in Game 3, where they outlasted the Northern Lights in a grueling back‑and‑forth battle that nearly lasted 40 minutes.
Time and time again, when the league’s powerhouses look unstoppable, Team Falcons step up to meet them. They are not just contenders in MPL PH—they are the ultimate test. Repeatedly, they have proven that they possess what it takes to bring down any giant. And as long as this championship core stays intact, no team will remain unblemished, and no streak will truly be safe.
