Before things kick off, check out our Pick’em selections on Daily Fantasy.
F Lionel Messi, Argentina (Goals: 0.5)
Lionel Messi is coming off a miraculous 2-nil comeback versus Egypt in the Round of 16, where he slotted in one to equalize before Enzo Fernandez secured the victory. At 39 years old, Messi’s still as effective as ever, and he is sure to smash his 0.5-goal projection.
Prediction: Higher

RW Ousmane Dembele, France (Shots: 2)
France appears to be destined to win their third FIFA World Cup title as they have breezed through the competition thus far, with Ousmane Dembele playing an integral role. When it comes to attempting more than two shots against Morocco though, the African team just might prevent him from doing so.
Prediction: Lower

ST Kylian Mbappe, France (Goals: 0.5)
The “golden boy” of Les Bleus is hot on the heels of Lionel Messi for the Golden Boot award (Messi has eight goals, Mbappe has seven), plus he has scored a goal in every game thus far for France aside from their Group Stage matchup with Norway. At 0.5 goals, higher is an easy pick for Mbappe.
Prediction: Higher

ST Harry Kane, England (Goals: 0.5)
Similar to France, England is a current favorite for many fans to reach the final due to their overwhelming talent, team play, and sideline guidance under former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel. Harry Kane’s thrived in his system, and there is no reason to believe that he will not score a single goal versus Norway.
Prediction: Higher

F Erling Haaland, Norway (Shots on Target: 1.5)
The darling of the tournament and a terrifying presence on the pitch, Erling Haaland has carried the weight of the Norwegian attack by slotting in as many goals as Mbappe with seven. England will surely be marking him from the jump, but “The Terminator” should have no trouble having more than 1.5 shots on target.
Prediction: Higher

GK Yassine Bounou, Morocco (Saves: 4)
This is a tricky one as Morocco will go head-to-head with the superbly talented France squad led by Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, and Michael Olise. Yassine Bounou is currently averaging 1.8 saves in the World Cup, and logging more than 4 saves against the French offense is highly unlikely to happen.
Prediction: Lower
