During the elimination round, the Choco Mucho Flying Titans recorded more losses than wins, finishing as the seventh seed with a 4-5 record. Now in the play-in tournament of the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference, Sisi Rondina and Maddie Madayag are determined to bring their team back to the semifinals.

The Flying Titans need to win three straight games to advance to the round-robin semifinals, and they are off to a strong start after defeating the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles in five sets, 21-25, 25-22, 13-25, 25-11, 15-11, on Tuesday, March 24.

For Rondina and Madayag, they acknowledged that it was their own doing that put them in a position where they now have to climb back.

In their crucial win over the Thunderbelles, Rondina scored 27 points built on 26 attacks, along with 15 excellent receptions, while Madayag added 19 points on 14 attacks, three blocks, and two aces.

Now that they have secured the first of three do-or-die victories, the Flying Titans remain focused on sustaining their momentum.

Madayag added, “Sinabi ko sa team namin na the journey will not get easy—it’s going to get much harder.
