Here are the players who made the biggest impact on April 12 and the stats to prove it.

TOP PERFORMERS OF THE DAY:

Justin Brownlee GIN SF 30 PTS | 9 REB | 5 AST | 57.3 FPS

Despite struggling from three, going 2-for-14 in his last two games, Brownlee has continued to dominate on the offensive end, now averaging 33.3 points, the second-best in the league. He has also maintained his usual impact on both rebounding and playmaking, while also providing solid production on defense.

James Dickey III PHX C 21 PTS | 21 REB | 9 AST | 52.7 FPS

Dickey continues to rack up numbers across the board, posting his third 20-point game and his third 20-rebound outing of the conference today. He also excelled as a playmaker, finishing with a game-high and a conference-high in assists. However, he wasn’t at the same level on defense today, failing to record a steal or block for the first time this conference while also committing seven turnovers.

Earl Scottie Thompson GIN SF 17 PTS | 6 AST  | 3 STL | 37.8 FPS

Thompson had a lackluster start offensively through his first three games of the conference. But he has picked it up in his last two outings, averaging 20.5 points on efficient shooting from inside the arc. He also continues to get it done in other areas, leading the team in assists while maintaining solid defensive production, averaging 2.4 steals.

Rhon Jay Abarrientos GIN PG 28 PTS | 5 REB | 3 AST | 37.5 FPS

The Kings’ guard has been a major threat from distance this conference, averaging 3 threes per game over his last five outings. But he took it up another notch today, knocking down 7-of-11. He has really elevated his offensive game this conference, averaging 22.3 points per contest.

Clinton Daniel Chapman MAG PF 34 PTS | 6 REB  | 3 BLK | 49.2 FPS

Chapman really struggled in their previous loss against Ginebra, but he bounced back in a big way today, shooting 7-for-11 from two and going a perfect 3-for-3 from deep to finish with his second 30-point outing of the conference. In just four games, he has quickly established himself as one of the best scorers in the league, averaging 29.75 points, which is the third-best in the conference.

Jaymar Perez SMB SG 23 PTS | 5 AST | 3 STL | 42.5 FPS

The Beermen played without an import today which forced Perez to take on an even larger role on the offensive end. While his efficiency wasn’t at its best, he still led the team in scoring and also recorded his fifth 20-point outing of the conference. The star guard has been a dependable force throughout the tournament, averaging 21.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 2.0 steals through seven games.

June Mar Fajardo SMB C 12 PTS  | 8 REB | 2 BLK | 27.6 FPS

Through six games this conference, JMF has further established himself as one of the league’s top players, averaging 16.0 points while ranking fifth in rebounds with 16.0 per game alongside the imports. However, he wasn’t at that level today, finishing with a conference-low in rebounds and posting a subpar scoring performance for the second time in three games.

Zavier Lucero MAG PF 11 PTS | 7 REB | 2 STL | 26.4 FPS

The forward has been on a strong offensive run to start the conference, averaging 17.5 points on 62.5% shooting from two in his first six games. While he wasn’t at the same level today, he still contributed efficiently on the scoring end while also maintaining a solid production on the board and on defense.

Jason Perkins PHX PF 17 PTS | 6 REB | 1 AST | 25.7 FPS

In his first game of the conference, Perkins came out strong, posting 19 points on highly efficient shooting from two-point range. But an injury limited him in his next two games, as he totaled just 13 points. However, he has regained his rhythm lately, posting at least 17 points and six rebounds in consecutive games.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE DAY:

Ricci Paolo Rivero PHX SF 9 PTS | 4 REB | 2 AST | 12.8 FPS

Rivero had been lighting it up on the scoring end lately, averaging 25.0 points over his last four games, which includes a 40-point explosion against Terrafirma. However, he really struggled to get going today, finishing 1-for-8 from three-point range and posting his lowest scoring output of the conference.
