❓What is fantasy basketball and how does it work?
Answer:
Fantasy basketball is a game where you build your own virtual team using real basketball players. Each player earns you points based on their real-life game performance — rebounds, assists, points, and more. You compete against other fantasy players, and the highest-scoring team wins prizes.

Here’s How It Works:
- Pick basketball players within a set budget
- Get points based on real stats
- Compete with others and win rewards
❓What’s the difference between Season-Long-Fantasy and Daily Fantasy Sports Game?
Answer:
Season-long fantasy and Daily Fantasy are two completely different ways to enjoy fantasy sports. Season Long involves drafting a team once and managing it for an entire season, while Daily Fantasy lets you create new lineups every single day with fresh opportunities to win.

Here’s How They Differ:
Season Long Fantasy:
- Draft your team once before the season starts
- Manage the same roster all season long
- Build lasting rivalries with friends in your league
- Strategic trades and waiver wire pickups matter
Daily Fantasy Sports:
- Create new lineups every day
- No long-term commitments required
- Instant results and immediate cash prizes
- Play multiple sports simultaneously
The choice depends on your style: Season Long is perfect for building friendships and long-term strategy, while Daily Fantasy offers instant action and flexibility for busy schedules.
❓How Are Fantasy Points Calculated?
Answer:
In Daily Fantasy Sports, every stat counts, and they don’t all count the same. That’s what makes the game both strategic and exciting! Whether your player scores a bucket, grabs a rebound, or blocks a shot, each action translates into specific points based on a scoring system.
Take this performance by June Mar Fajardo, for example:
26 points, 15 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks, and only 2 turnovers. That totals to 54.0 fantasy points in one night!
Here’s the breakdown:
- Points = 1.0 FP
- Rebounds = 1.2 FP
- Assists = 1.5 FP
- Steals and Blocks = 3.0 FP
- Turnovers = -1.0 FP
Even hustle stats like blocks and steals are heavily rewarded, so it’s not just scorers who shine in fantasy.

❓What Are Credits in Daily Fantasy Sports?
Answer:
Credits are your budget for building a team. Every manager starts with the same 100 credits, but each player has a different price based on their performance and stats. That means you need to decide how to spend wisely—whether to go all-in on superstars, take a balanced approach with solid mid-tier players, or bet on an underrated dark horse.
No matter the strategy, everyone plays with the same 100 credits, which makes the challenge fun and fair. The real question is: what kind of manager are you?

❓ My player only scored 5 points. Why are their Fantasy Points so high?
Answer:
This is the “Hidden Gem” of Fantasy Basketball! In our scoring system, a player’s value isn’t just about putting the ball in the hoop. Defensive hustle is actually the fastest way to boost your total score.
A defensive specialist might only score 5 points, but if they grab a few steals and block a shot, their Fantasy Points (FP) can easily surpass a high-scoring star!
Why these “Quiet” players have huge Fantasy Value:
- The 3x Multiplier: A single Steal or Block (+3.0 FP) is worth exactly the same as a 3-point shot.
- Consistency: While scoring can be streaky, elite defenders usually provide rebounds and blocks every single game.

❓ I picked a superstar who scored 30 points. Why is my Fantasy score lower than expected?
Answer:
It’s the classic “Fantasy Trap.” While 30 points look great on a highlight reel, you have to look at the Turnovers (-1.0 FP).
In Daily Fantasy, efficiency is king. If a star player is “messy” with the ball and commits 5 or 6 turnovers, they are effectively erasing a huge chunk of their scoring brilliance.
❓ Besides big-name superstars, what else should I look for when building my team?
Answer:
While superstars are great, you can’t fill your whole team with them due to the 100-credit budget. To win, you need to find “Usage”—the real secret behind high Fantasy Points (FP). Usage measures how much a player actually handles the ball and controls the offense.
A famous star on a “Super Team” often shares the spotlight, which can limit his touches. However, a “Main Man” on a smaller team—even if they aren’t a household name—might be the one doing everything on the court. In Fantasy, high usage often beats high popularity!
How to find “High Usage” value:
- The Team Leader: Look for the #1 option on any team. If they take the most shots, they are a Fantasy Goldmine.
- The “Next Man Up”: When a superstar is injured, their backup suddenly gets all the “Usage” for a fraction of the cost!
- Empty Stats don’t exist: In DFS, a 30-point game on a losing team is just as valuable as a 30-point game on a winning team.

❓ Why does my superstar’s performance vary so much from game to game?
Answer:
Even the best players are affected by their Game Environment. Pro Managers don’t just look at who the player is; they look at “Pace.” If a star is stuck in a slow, defensive “grind” where the final score is 85-80, they have fewer chances to rack up stats. But if that same player is in a “Pace-Up” game—a high-speed track meet with a score like 120-115—they get way more opportunities to shoot, rebound, and assist.
