The Blackwater import was simply on another level today. He dominated the paint, shooting 11-for-19 from two to finish with a game-high and new conference-high in scoring. He was even more impressive on the glass, pulling down 10 offensive rebounds as part of a monster effort. He is now averaging 14.2 rebounds per game this conference—the second-best mark in the league.
Rey Benedict Nambatac TNT PG 30 PTS | 4 AST | 1 STL | 41.4 FPS
The former Finals MVP completely took over in the fourth quarter, dropping 18 big points and capping the comeback win with a game-winning three-pointer. Last conference, Nambatac was an important piece of the rotation, though standout performances were few and far between. This conference, however, he has rediscovered his offensive rhythm—setting a new season-high in scoring and posting at least 19 points for the third time in four games.
Ricci Paolo Rivero PHX SF 10 PTS | 8 REB | 9 AST | 41.1 FPS
Despite a tough shooting night, the star wing still found ways to impact the game, finishing with a near triple-double performance, plus three stocks. Through the first few games of the conference, Rivero has been stellar, and he looks well-positioned to maintain this level of production moving forward.

TNT had no answer for Baltazar today. Offensively, he set a new conference-high in scoring after converting 5-for-6 from two and a perfect 3-for-3 from deep. On the boards, he was just as impressive, leading all players in rebounds and recording his fourth consecutive 10-rebound output.

On the whole, this was a solid bounce back outing from Ilagan. Though he failed to convert from long ranges, going a combined 0-for-6, he compensated by shooting 8-for-11 from two to finish among the game’s top scorers and record his fourth 20-point game of the conference. He also elevated his game in other areas, posting conference-highs in both rebounds and assists.
Robert Johnson III PHX SF 23 PTS | 12 REB | 4 TO | 34.9 FPS
It wasn’t his most efficient performance. Johnson struggled early, scoring just two points in the first quarter while shooting 1-for-6 from the field. He also finished the game with four turnovers and missed all six of his 3-point attempts. But he came through when his team needed him most, scoring 10 points in the fourth quarter to seal the win. So far in this conference, Johnson has been remarkably consistent, scoring at least 23 points in four straight games while recording his third consecutive 10-rebound performance.

It was a stellar offensive night for the returning PBA import, who matched the game-high in scoring behind a perfect 10-for-10 effort at the stripe and four triples. He delivered his biggest moments in the fourth quarter, pouring in 14 points—highlighted by a booming 4-pointer and four clutch free throws to knot the game.

The big man continues to step up in a big way for TNT. He was a game-changer in the paint, shooting 5-for-7 on two-pointers with six offensive rebounds for a season-best performance. This was also his second consecutive 10-rebound game of the conference.

Perkins set the tone on offense, dropping 23 points through the first three quarters. Though he slowed down in the fourth, he still finished with his best scoring game of the conference with a stellar 8-for-13 shooting from two and 6-for-7 shooting from the line.

Mamuyac got off to a rough start against Blackwater, going scoreless and turning the ball over twice in the first quarter. But he got going in the middle quarters, scoring 13 points and adding five more in the fourth to set a new conference-high.

Off to a blazing start against his former club, the Converge guard sank two 4-pointers in the first quarter and poured in 17 points by halftime. He was far from that level, however, going scoreless for the rest of the game. Nevertheless, he reached a new conference-high in scoring.
Jordan Timothy Heading TNT SG 20 PTS | 1 REB | 1 AST | 21.7 FPS
Heading came out firing early, knocking down three 3-pointers and pouring in 20 points in the first half. It marked his second consecutive 20-point outing of the conference and his 13th of the season. However, he was unable to add to his tally after sustaining a shoulder injury in the third quarter.

For the most part of this conference, the veteran has stepped up for the undermanned TNT, which was the case again today as he shot efficiently from the field, led the team in assists, and ranked second in rebounding.

It was a night to forget for the Blackwater guard. He struggled mightily on the offensive end, tying his conference-low with a 5-for-19 performance from the field. Things were even worse from deep for Barefield, who is now shooting just 10-for-45 from three-point range this conference.

Since dropping 19 points in a win over Terrafirma, the star guard has cooled off noticeably, averaging just 10 points on 11-of-27 shooting over his last three games. While he continues to provide value in different areas, his numbers have been inconsistent at best.
