Rematch With Alycia Parks
First up for Alex Eala in Toronto is 25‑year‑old Alycia Parks, who already owns a victory over the 21-year-old rising star from the Philippines.
Earlier this year at the 2026 Australian Open, the American defeated the Filipina in the opening round, rallying from a set down to win, 0‑6, 6‑3, 6‑2.
Parks has enjoyed a steady Grand Slam campaign this season, reaching the second round of all three majors played so far. She also advanced to the quarterfinals of the Hellenic Championship in Athens, Greece, before bowing out.
